Prototyping After drawing the proposed product in two- and three-dimensional CAD models, machining one or more hand-made prototypes gives the possibility for maximising its performance and reducing overall development time. Drawings alone cannot always anticipate the user-friendliness, performance and functionality of the final product. Primo masters all forms of prototype production through
- Milling
- Turning
- Sawing
- Welding
- Gluing
Our modern machining facilities employ years of experience in the processing of plastic products. The machinery includes advanced, CNC-controlled workstations, conventional cutters and lathes run with state-of-the-art programming equipment. We also assemble profiles through splice- , contact- and ultrasound-welding, or glue them as an alternative. This equipment, at expert hands, ensures that the finished product is of the highest, consistent quality, whether as a prototype or final product. A prototype can also save costs at a later stage in the development of tools for serial production. |
